This tutorial is dedicated to the reader of our blog Rean who was the 1st to ask the question
Ok, in fact there are 2 ways to upload the project to your server.
1. Using the ftp client software
2. Using built in AuroraFlash project uploader.

If you prefer to use 3rd parties ftp client software(we recommend to use filezilla as it is free and very convenient) you should do the following.
1. Setup ftp connection(you will need ftp host name, ftp user name and ftp password)
2. Open public_html or www folder
3. Copy all files from MyDocuments/AuroraFlashSiteBuilder(from your local PC) to /www or /public_html(at your server)
4. Open the URL of your website.
5. Enjoy
If you are using “native” website publishing tool you should open Aurora application, click the “publish” button(upper left corner) and fill in all fields in the dialog box. NOTE! It is very important that your host name begins with ftp:// and public_html ends with “/”

As we promised in the very beginning of the project we are planning to launch a set of video tutorials. The 1st one is already online, you can check it here:

At the moment thats all, if you have any ideas we can always review them and make new tutorial.

As we have promised we are going to update current version of site builder with new updated interface, all bugs fixed and new features added. Now you can choose one of the site preloaders instead of using the default one. Also all existing themes will be patched and a couple of new designs will be added. Also at the moment we are working on papervision 3d gallery component which will be added into new versions of free templates compatible with Aurora.

We spent about 40 minutes to generate 5 flash templates and show you that creating flash websites can be really easy and fun. If you just play a little with background and the logo you can change the look and feel of your website really dramatically. I want to notice that we’ve used usual HD wallpapers as a background images, but if you want your website to look a bit more interactive you can use dynamic flash background or intro.  So take a look, the screen shots come below.

I want to say that the logos used in the templates were taken from www.logoinstant.com so if you are planning to use them for the commercial purposes you should contact the owners of the artwork first.

After some modification of main menu structure theme 1 rfused to function. We have found out whats the problem and now the everything works fine. Please update the file . As usualy just copy the file into “templates” folder.

Thanks everyone for helping to find bugs in theme4 flash template. To update the template you should copy this file into your C:/ProgramFiles/Aurora.org/templates/ and replace the existing one. This will fix the problem with block titles. Also there is a problem with theme1, in the evening we are planning to upload new patch. Ok, enjoy and let us know if you have any further questions

We just thought it would be cool if the user could choose which page should load by default. Now you can set any page of your website to be the default one. In another words it will be the 1st page the visitors see when they come to your website. You should download the update of the program. Here is the link

Couple of hours ago I uploaded beta version to our downloads folder. The application comes with 6 predesigned flash templates. This application is not thoroughly tested and we hope you will assist us in finding typos and bugs. And as usual tips, comments and recommendations are more than welcome. Video tutorials are coming soon, just need to get a couple of hours during this weekend and show you how to use Aurora.
