5 new templates for flash site builder were contributed a couple of hours ago.The 1st design skin has already been forwarded to Deep(our flash developer). As usual every template contains 7 types of content layout, the main difference between these design themes is the location of main navigation menu. Well, you can see examples below.

Ok , so this 1st skin is a pretty simple template in  black and white colors, the general look and feel can be changed if you update the logo, background, add some more graphics.

The template above has original left to right sliding menu, as usual you have full control over the content and can change the look and feel of your flash website dramatically.

Personally I especially like the 3rd flash template cause I consider top menu location most usable , convenient and functional. If the visitor has low resolution he will definitely see the top of the page.

The 4th website skin is classic flash design looking pretty similar to our current alpha version. this is a good example demonstrating that good background does mean alot.

As for the 5th template I believe it would benefit alot from flash animated interactive background which can be easily integrated in any website created using AuroraFlash Site Builder. And btw as I have announced before we are waiting for a bunch of flash animated backgrounds from our friends willing to contribute to the project.

Today we have finished the development of the flash part(there is also desktop application which is on the way) of our site builder and ready to start testing the site core, site loader and graphics and components libraries(gclibs). Before going into technical details I will tell what can be done using Aurora Flash Site Builder.

First of all you should realize that our site builder is desktop WYSIWYG editor for Windows OS that visualizes the process of flash website development. It’s like Dreamweaver or Frontpage, but only for flash. Using this software you can build flexible and editable flash sites absolutely free of charge. The application comes with a set of predefined content layouts and design themes(additional themes and layouts will be available for the download during the process of project development), and based on these designs and layouts you can create large, full functional, editable and scalable flash websites with astonishing effects and flash animation.

Currently we have these types of content layout:

Simple text page.
2 fields text page horizontally  oriented.
2 fields text page vertically oriented.
Image gallery with up thumbnails men.
Image gallery with bottom thumbnails menu.
Contact form with left text box field.
Contact form with up text box field.

Every layout is very similar to flash components that you can find at flashmint or flashden or any other components related website.

Every design theme includes complete set of layouts, so you can change the design of your website in a couple of clicks without the risk of data loss. This also means you can create the website with the unlimited number of pages based on the existing layouts. And of course you will be able to change the background image, logo, slogan, copyrights, sound tracks, page transition effects and so on.

How it works?

The idea is very simple. We have xml structure of the site. Every node of the structure can be either content page(any of the layouts), or menu/submenu item, or external link(usual href link), or swf movie. This architecture allows you to build sophisticated websites with complex menu structure, large number of pages, link to external sites or your site pages(yes we do support deep linking and every page has its own URL), integrate external swf files(like intro pages or 3rd parties widgets).

To make the process of XML editing convenient we decided to create visual site editor that helps you to develop site menu, assign pages, change the design on the fly, preview the results on your local computer, save and publish your site on the web.

Ok, so finally we have finished free flash image gallery aimed to satisfy needs of the photographers and everyone willing to share the images/photos/artwork on the net.

The gallery is XML based and can be edited petty easy. Full list of features comes below

Many of you guys probably would love to hear some feedback from your visitors or customers. But no so many of you have programming experience to integrate contact form into your website. In this post I will tell you how to build in flash form into your web page easily.

So 1st of all you should download this zip file containing the contact form itself, settings file, text content file and sendmail file. Please note that your server MUST have php enabled, and php mail() function as well.

After that you should unzip the file and upload the ontent to your server. Simply insert this flash document into any css/html part of your website, change the dummy email address to your own(sendmail.php file) and you are all set up. Now you can get messages from your visitors and forget about the spammers. Oh, and one more thing. besides the form you also get a small space to add your phone, address or whatever you may need. To change it simply edit text.txt
