Since we are not a commercial company we do not provide website customization service or custom design, but it does not mean we do not have some nice flash sites to boast People who use our Free Flash CMS Solution created a number of cool flash websites based on Aurora Site Builder.  Here we collected a short list of websites who refer visitors back to our site. This means these websites are popular and visited by other web surfers.  Once again I want to notice that these websites were not created by professional flash designers.

All these flash websites were built using Aurora Free Flash Content Management System.

Finally we have finished some legal documents allowing to use Aurora Templates for commercial purposes. In this short post I will be giving an overview of what you can do and what you can not do with Aurora site engine.

As we have stated before the product and all it’s components  is completely free for your personal use and in a couple of days we will share all Aurora source files. At the moment we are aware of 1000’s of the websites using our free site builder.

Besides that we got tons of  messages from flash developers all over the world(and especially India ) inquiring  if they can use our engine and WYSIWYG editor for their commercial needs. Mostly these “commercial needs” were absolutely the same. People just want to create professional flash templates compatible with our WYSIWYG editor and sell it at stock flash websites. And thats ok! We believe it’s a good idea and we are ready to support it as much as we can. To keep things easy we decided to create 2 types of license. One for custom projects and another for templates based projects aimed at massive sales.

Basic Commercial License(BCL) – 25 EURO per unit. This license allows you to create 1 website based on aurora flash engine and sell it to 1 customer. Minimal units amounts – 1 unit.

Extended Commercial License(ECL) – 150 EURO per 10 units. This type of licensing allows you to create flash templates and sell it to as many customers as you can get. Minimal units amount – 10 units.

As we have promised we are going to update current version of site builder with new updated interface, all bugs fixed and new features added. Now you can choose one of the site preloaders instead of using the default one. Also all existing themes will be patched and a couple of new designs will be added. Also at the moment we are working on papervision 3d gallery component which will be added into new versions of free templates compatible with Aurora.

We spent about 40 minutes to generate 5 flash templates and show you that creating flash websites can be really easy and fun. If you just play a little with background and the logo you can change the look and feel of your website really dramatically. I want to notice that we’ve used usual HD wallpapers as a background images, but if you want your website to look a bit more interactive you can use dynamic flash background or intro.  So take a look, the screen shots come below.

I want to say that the logos used in the templates were taken from www.logoinstant.com so if you are planning to use them for the commercial purposes you should contact the owners of the artwork first.

After some modification of main menu structure theme 1 rfused to function. We have found out whats the problem and now the everything works fine. Please update the file . As usualy just copy the file into “templates” folder.

Thanks everyone for helping to find bugs in theme4 flash template. To update the template you should copy this file into your C:/ProgramFiles/Aurora.org/templates/ and replace the existing one. This will fix the problem with block titles. Also there is a problem with theme1, in the evening we are planning to upload new patch. Ok, enjoy and let us know if you have any further questions

We just thought it would be cool if the user could choose which page should load by default. Now you can set any page of your website to be the default one. In another words it will be the 1st page the visitors see when they come to your website. You should download the update of the program. Here is the link

Couple of hours ago I uploaded beta version to our downloads folder. The application comes with 6 predesigned flash templates. This application is not thoroughly tested and we hope you will assist us in finding typos and bugs. And as usual tips, comments and recommendations are more than welcome. Video tutorials are coming soon, just need to get a couple of hours during this weekend and show you how to use Aurora. While our C# programmer is fixing tons of bugs and adds new features suggested by our users, Deep(our flash developer) works on new flash layouts for your websites.  And now we are proud to share 5 brand new layouts(or flash templates if you want) that can be downloaded from AuroraFlash absolutely free of charge.

These nice 5 flash designs can be customized easily. All you have to do is to edit the xml files, and your website is all set. I must notice that our templates support absolutely all languages, not only Latin character. To display non Latin chars the xml files should be saved in UTF-8 format. I would really recommend you to use notepad2 application for this purpose.

And the last but not the least. The templates are distributed as freeware, nevertheless before the download you MUST REALIZE that you can not resell/redistribute this product under your brand, claim your intellectual property on the product, remove the back link to AuroraFlash.  Guess thats all, enjoy now
