A couple of hours ago FancyCMS  officially released demo version of Windows based desktop editor for FancyCMS flash templates. According to their blog post the software has rich set of features including

• Edit, backup and publish multiple websites individually;
• Website customization is no longer dependent on your internet connection;
• You have a complete backup of your website on your hard drive;
• Powerful WYSIWYG editor;
• E-commerce module + instant sales notifications;
• Garbage collector: find and remove unused files;

We have just downloaded and install the software and we must notice it looks like a bit improved version of Aurora

Few days ago FlashMint launched brand new Windows application allowing to edit their flash templates using the WYSIWYG flash editor. Currently as a part of the promo action the templates are being distributes with 50% discount which will be valid through the end of April.

Finally we can proceed to web design. Choosing the design of your website is extremely important. Nowadays the net is full of free flash templates, free website templates and so on. Any of these templates will require some technical skills and definitely you will have to purchase a copy of Adobe Flash or Adobe Dreamweaver which is not cheap. One people say  it’s easy to build a website in notepad, other may assure you there is nothing easier than building a website using Flash CS3. Both assumptions are false. You need serious web design experience and education both for HTML coding and Flash animation and programming.  Sometimes I even believe that all free templates are created to assure the customer that the easiest way to make a website is to pay for professional design and customization service

Now we can boast we have professional flash themes created and distributed by 3rd parties developers.  About 1 week ago Artin2ition added new XML flash template based on aurora engine to www.flashcomponents.net website, you can check it here . The template costs $15 which is pretty inexpensive. Also we are expecting some new templates appear at www.flashmint.com and www.flashscope.com .

As we reported earlier the 1st company who used our templates for the commercial purposes was LayoutsPack – templates membership website.

Right now we are continuing the process of simplifying aurora engine for less experienced flash developers and at the same time preparing cool free WOW Template.
